Conversion Casa A

Casa A was completely rebuilt in 2020/2021. Historic from about the 17th century was only the house where the current kitchen is inside. The living room was added 20th century, the part with the staircase built between the two houses (both not really worth preserving). Now, in collaboration with the municipality, a stone roof has also been built. Therefore, in contrast to Casa B and Studio C, Casa A was realized as a relatively modern apartment that can be used all year round.

The reconstruction was designed and planned with P.5 Roger Bächtold (Zurich) and managed by Mare Rusticobau (Ascona). The craftsmen are mainly from the surrounding area (except interior finishing and parquet flooring).
